By using Back To School NC you agree to these terms. They are short because the site asks little of you.
What you may do
Read the site, print the calendars, download the PDFs and calendar files, and add the feeds to your own calendar app. Share links to any page. Use the printable sheets at home, in a classroom or in an office.
What you may not do
- Copy the site, or large parts of it, to publish elsewhere.
- Scrape it at a rate that interferes with it working for others.
- Present anything here as an official communication from a school, a district or a government agency. It is not.
- Remove the source credit from a printable or a document mirrored here.
What belongs to whom
The pages, the printable calendar sheets and the way the data is put together are ours. The underlying facts are not: school and district records come from public federal and state sources, and calendar dates come from what each district publishes. District and school names, logos and calendar documents belong to those districts and schools. They appear here for identification, with their source credited, and they stay theirs.
If you run a district or school and want a document of yours taken down, say so and it will be removed.
What is not promised
The site is provided as it is. We work to keep it accurate, and every page names its source and says when the data was read, but we do not guarantee that any date, number or boundary is current or correct. Districts change calendars, redraw zones and revise figures. Confirm anything you are relying on with the school or district before acting on it. We are not liable for decisions made on the basis of what is here.
The site may be changed, or parts of it removed, at any time.

Pages link to district websites, official documents and map providers. Those sites have their own terms and we are not responsible for them.
